Discover and celebrate one of the world’s oldest traditions: In this workshop we will share stories—some traditional, and others we will create together. Prepare to giggle, be surprised, and discover the magic of sitting in a circle telling and listening to stories. Some of our stories will be inspired by simple props we will create at the beginning of each class.

Making Stuffed Animals with Jenna Robb

We will begin by drawing pictures of your child’s favorite animal or made-up creature.  In the following two sessions we will use a variety of stamping techniques to bring the animal to life on a fabric version of your drawing. We will spend our last day stuffing our new pals for your children to bring home to love.

Native American Crafts and Culture with the Institute of American Indian Studies (IAIS)

Join IAIS Educators for afternoons filled with the creation of fun and fascinating American Indian inspired crafts, including decorated gourd rattles, mini dance sticks, mini mandellas and clay woodland animals.  We will also enjoy traditional American Indian games.
