Join us for our annual fall trip to NYC! Walk the fascinating streets of the Village, SoHo, and Chinatown, and explore the wide array of boutiques, art galleries, cafes, and vendors on every block. Each neighborhood offers a unique experience. We will start off from Washington Square Park where street performers abound. Be sure to bring a camera and sketch book to document your trip. Students in grades K-8 require a parent/guardian to accompany them.

What better way to spend an afternoon than exploring the fascinating Katonah Museum of Art! Students will have the opportunity to go on an interactive tour of the museum (including a hands-on art activity), visit its Sculpture Garden, and see a special exhibition featuring paintings, photographs, and sculptures that capture New York City’s urban atmosphere. To make the day even sweeter, we will stop for ice cream before heading back home.
The school bus departs Washington Primary School at 1:00 pm, where it will then be picking up students from Booth Free School and Burnham before heading to the museum.

Join us as we go see the hillarious Bell, Book, and Candle at the Hartford Stage! Gillian is a smart and sultry witch who decides to cast a love spell on her upstairs neighbor. He is totally bewitched, and falls deeply in love. Gillian finds out that love is potent magic indeed: she, too, falls under its spell—but at the cost of her powers.
